ABC Program

Overview

The Dual Degree Program is a partnership between the 快猫短视频 University regional campuses in Gary, Kokomo and South Bend in conjunction with the Ivy Tech Community College campuses of northern and north central 快猫短视频.

The Dual Degree Program represents the proven formula in higher education that students who earn an Associate’s degree at a community college are much more likely to go on to earn their Bachelor’s degree at a college or university.

Associate + Bachelor’s = Completion
= College degrees

Full-time Ivy Tech students are encouraged to apply during their first year of study at Ivy Tech Community College.  The program provides an excellent pathway to earn quality, accessible, and affordable associate and bachelor's degrees which will increase their opportunities for a professional career.  Benefits include: 

  • Guaranteed Admission to IU Northwest
  • A Transfer Specialist at Ivy Tech and IU Northwest 
  • Tuition freeze and scholarship opportunities
    • Ivy Tech Community College, Redhawk Scholarship - Award (full-time): Associate degree earned at Ivy Tech, enrolled in the Dual Degree Program. Eligibility requirements vary
    • Ivy Tech Community College, Redhawk Plus Scholarship - Award (full-time): Associate degree earned at Ivy Tech, enrolled in the Dual Degree Program and eligible for the federal Pell Grant. Eligibility requirements vary
    • Ivy Tech Community College, Associate Degree Scholarship - Award (full-time): $6,000 two-year award ($3,000 per academic year split by term) Award (part-time) $3,000 two-year award ($1,500 per academic year split by term) 
      • Eligibility criteria: Associate degree earned at Ivy Tech, cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum, with bachelor's degree objective. Interest form required, deadline July 1.
  • A Summer Bridge Program for students transitioning to IU Northwest. 
  • Access to IU Northwest John W Anderson Library and Conference Center, career services, academic resources, Savannah Fitness Center and more
